Films have always been an obsession of mine. I got sucked into movies (and their sibling, TV) very early on, fascinated by both the images that marched from beginning to end and the stories that resulted. When I realized there were people that actually wrote the stories that appeared on screen — they weren’t actors making things up or directors commanding every element of the story — an obsession was born. It took quite a number of years, though, to figure out not only how to write screenplays but to write them well. Or reasonably well. And then, once created on the page, a new obsession took over: actually getting them up on the screen. I’ve been fortunate to figure out how to actually make my obsessions real.
